A Message from the Town About Its New High-Speed Internet
September 17, 2021 6:29 pmAfter the Bristol Broadband Now ribbon cutting ceremony on September 16, 2021, the Town of Bristol released a message to the town with information about the initiative and what’s next for broadband in Bristol.
“The Town wishes to thank the voters for the initial funding support for the project as well as Northern Border Regional Commission and State of New Hampshire Emergency Broadband program for the remaining support for this project,” the message stated.
A ribbon cutting and event was the culmination more than three years of work by the Town and its partners, particularly its design/build partner eX2 Technology, to get the first sections of the network built. Future phases of the network will be built out to Hebron, Tenney Mountain, other neighboring towns and eventually all municipalities in the County.”
Additional information about broadband service will be released in the coming months, including updates in the Town Crier and news released here on the Bristol Economic Development website.
