Newfound Independence Map Launches for Summer 2022

It features member businesses from around New Hampshire’s Newfound Lake area and is a handy way to find just what you’re looking for, whether it’s as a visitor or a local. What’s New for the Newfound Independence Map This Year
Every year since 2020, Newfound Independence has released a map of where to find businesses around Newfound Lake as a way to help them get the word out. In 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Newfound Independence printed and distributed 10,000 maps to residents and visitors featuring participating businesses on an illustrated map, designed by a local artist.
This year, the project has become even bigger. Thanks to collaboration with the Lakes Region Chamber and a grant from the New Hampshire Joint Promotional Program (JPP), the volunteer team will distribute 20,000 in the Newfound Lake area to all local businesses, welcome centers off of I-93, and through the Granite State Ambassadors. The map also has a new look–the group commissioned Meredith artist Richard Mundy to create the Newfound Lake Area map.
Not only do the maps show where to find local businesses, each business receives an ad placement on the back of the map and is featured on the Newfound Independence Facebook page. Businesses can share job postings, specials and deals and more!
Other Business Opportunities
Missed the deadline to be featured on the map but still want to get involved? Newfound Independence has coordinated an online job fair for businesses in the Newfound Lake communities. All area businesses were welcome to participate at no cost.
